Our Inspiring Story

Radio Free Voices is a community gospel choir established in 2012. The group is the brainchild of Traci ‘Eboni’ Brown, Continuity Director at 102.3 Radio FREE KJLH. Comprised of 25 talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, the choir brings together voices from all walks of life, united by a shared passion for uplifting others through gospel music.

In addition to serving as the opening act for Stevie Wonder’s House Full of Toys Benefit Concert for the past 7 years, this choir has been a driving force with an inspiring presence in Southern California; performing with many major artists including Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Childish Bambino, Justin Bieber, Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, and Charles Jenkins. Their TV appearances range from Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen to a national Ford Expedition campaign.

Under the leadership of their esteemed choir director, Tyanta Snow, the Radio Free Voices has four singles that are currently in rotation on radio stations across the country. Later this year their upcoming EP, “Don’t Take Your Spirit”, is due to be released which will include their newest single “I Know It Was the Blood”
